I love spring days when the smell of burning brush wafts through suburban neighborhoods. Stay away from my father on burning days; if it resembles anything made of wood, it will get tossed in the fire. He couldn't be happier on days like this...relaxing in his adirondack, chainsaw to the left, Orvis catalog to the right and a huge pile of crackling flames in front of him.

A sunny and warm Saturday afternoon meant everyone was out enjoying the sunshine.

Blue sear sucker pants, blue necklace and my special puzzle piece bracelet. April 2nd marks World Autism Awareness Day and people were encouraged to wear blue to spread awareness. It amazed me how many friends, coworkers and strangers I saw wearing blue in support today.  Autism effects so many and it was really inspiring to see and hear about people all around the world showing their support and spreading awareness together on the same day.
