July 27, 2010: Day 208

Have I mentioned how much I love Tuesday nights? I always leave teaching with a smile on my face.

July 26, 2010: Day 207

Whenever I see a John Deere, I think of my Uncle Jim...and that makes me smile.

July 25, 2010: Day 206

A blank canvas.

July 24, 2010: Day 205

Priceless.

July 23, 2010: Day 204

Sometimes unplanned nights are the best adventure.

July 22, 2010: Day 203

I think I love just looking at the bright colors and beautiful patterns of my new scarf from India as much as I love wearing it.

Doodling on the wall :)

July 20, 2010: Day 201

I love it when clouds look like mountains (or my sister's crazy puppy, Bambi)

July 19, 2010: Day 200

There are some of life's questions that I will never know the answer to...like, why are cupcakes yummier than cake?

July 18, 2010: Day 199

"What soap is to the body, laughter is to the soul."
I like to think ladybugs are heaven sent.

July 17, 2010: Day 198

After a lot of searching, I found the perfect ingredients for the favors for tomorrow's dinner celebration in honor of Gram.

Happy 96th birthday, Gamma.

The shirt says it all.

Took the long way home tonight because there was some great music on the radio.

July 11, 2010: Day 192

Watching a father who will stop at nothing to make his daughter laugh.
"I'll tell you one thing, it's always better when we're together."

July 10, 2010: Day 191

Banana pancakes :)

"Love is the answer at least for most of the questions in my heart, like why are we here? And where do we go? And how come it's so hard?"

It was a Jack Johnson day from start to finish which makes for one really happy day.

July 9, 2010: Day 190

Watermelon and feta with an orange-thyme vinaigrette. I was hesitant at first, but my gosh...simply heavenly.
Ahh, New England!
Watching the sun slowly set over the harbor tonight reminded me of the many ocean sunsets we enjoyed nightly on Semester at Sea.

July 8, 2010: Day 189

Itty bitty, teeny weeny tomato. Super cute.

July 6, 2010: Day 187

Cheering for the home team.
Drinking a beer with your same name somehow makes it taste even better :)

July 5, 2010: Day 186

A flip flop family.

July 4, 2010: Day 185

Happy Fourth of July!

July 3, 2010: Day 184

During the hike down Mt. Wachusett, I noticed a butterfly flying from branch to branch. I stopped to take a picture of it from afar so I stood there perfectly still and quiet, until suddenly the little guy flew right over and landed on my hip.
The summit! 2000 feet above the rest of the world.

Today marks 1/2 way through 2010!
183 photos down, 182 to go!

July 1, 2010: Day 182

Mom's marigolds.
Reminds me of my NDCC days...we would plant marigolds in Dixie cups every May to give to our mom's on Mother's Day.
