I love the chaos of Tuesday night volleyball.

September 26, 2010: Day 269
I was so sad to be leaving New York and my dearest friends this weekend...imagine my surprise when I saw Adam's smiling face boarding the same bus back to Boston as me.

September 25, 2010: Day 268
Eat Pray Love Weekend.
Delicious food, surprise visits, peaceful yoga class, non-stop laughter, and reminiscing about ten years of memories while making new ones.

September 22, 2010: Day 265
In college, my roommates would always tease me because I would hang out wrapped in my bathrobe for hours. I still stay in my robe for every last minute I can when I'm getting ready for work. Nothing is cozier than being swaddled in a big, fluffy robe after a hot shower.

September 21, 2010: Day 264
This picture doesn't come close to doing it justice, but the moon and jupiter were absolutely beautiful tonight.

September 9, 2010: Day 252
Stressful day at work left me walking to my car a little cranky. Come to find this silly surprise left for me on my car door -- unknowingly making me smile when I needed it most.

September 6, 2010: Day 249
I've had the opportunity to watch countless sunsets but watching the sunrise is an extra special occasion.
If the number of dirty beach towels is any indication of the weekend, it was a really, really good weekend.
September 5, 2010: Day 248
No caption needed :)
A nap in the hammock, singing in the outdoor shower, making s'mores with the kids, and canoeing across the pond...the ultimate way to pass the time.
The happiest salt & pepper shakers.
September 4, 2010: Day 247
My family isn't exempt from my classic self-timer photos either. My family is crazy. And quite simply, I love them like crazy.
Happiness is contagious.
September 3, 2010: Day 246
Chicken Pot Pie night with the Smiths has always been one of my favorites. Even now that I'm a vegetarian, it still stands out as my favorite family meal (note my bowl of cereal in the bottom center.) Turns out, it's not the food that makes the meal.
Ruby fell asleep before we could have cake last night on her actual birthday, so we continued the celebrations tonight. I've always believed in dragging out birthday celebrations as much as possible and if anyone deserves it, Ruby definitely does.

September 2, 2010: Day 245
Celebrating Ms. Ruby's 7th birthday in Cape Cod.
I vividly remember this day seven years ago. My mom called me as I was on my way to class at Quinnipiac to tell me Bridget had gone into labor. Immediately after class, I hopped on the same train to Manhattan that Shannon and mom were on. By the time we arrived at the hospital, Ruby was born and wrapped tightly in a white blanket. I will never forget lying next to a tiny, sleeping, newborn Ruby and promising to love and spoil her forever. Seven years later, I had so much fun loving and spoiling her all day long.

August 31, 2010: Day 243
Talked on the phone for over an hour and a half tonight with my best friend in the world. I felt like I was thirteen again, talking on the phone until midnight on a school night. All seems well in the world when you have a best friend to call.
